Shelley Peckham is an artist from Madison, WI.
Her paper collages have been exhibited in museums and galleries across the Unites States and abroad. She is drawn to the accessible nature of the discipline of collage as well as the interplay of serendipity and intuition during the process of creation. The surreal scenes in Peckham’s work recall the uncanny, mercurial nature of dreams. Through these dreamscapes, she explores the mind/body connection and asks viewers to consider the role of function in their understanding and appreciation of beauty.
